Using Your New Windows 8 Computer

Today, I’d like to talk to you about one of my favorite topics, Windows 8.
In my opinion, Windows 8 is very, very immature and very difficult for the average PC user whose got used to the start button being around since Windows 95 launched. It doesn’t matter what operating system of windows you have, 95, 98 millennium edition which was a real dog. XP which is fantastic. Vista which Microsoft is too ashamed to admit. Windows 7 which is awesome been here now for 2 years and now it’s been Windows 8.

Personally, I think someone’s probably going to lose their job in Microsoft for what a debug this has been. With windows 8, basically they are trying to change it to a mobile phone screen and there’s no start button, there’s no easy way to shut down and unless you got a touch screen, where you can basically swipe across to bring out the menus.

You’re fooling around with your mouse, wiggling around circles and bottom hand corners just to bring out the settings and shut down menus. A lot of people find it too hard.

However, if you have just bought a new machine and a lot of new notebooks are coming out with windows 8, don’t despair. There are start menu replacements that we can put back on the machine and restore the windows7 functionality and look.

Under the hood, Windows 8 is actually a superior and fast operating system but the interphase they gave us to work with is so damn bad that no one wants to use it.

So, if you want to enjoy the best of both worlds, if you like to have a start menu back, if you’d like the computer to feel more familiar give us a call, we’re here to help. (07) 3122 3303
