Today, I’d like to talk to you about servicing a computer. A lot of people seem to feel that the computer’s working, no matter how long they might have it, it’s working, why would they spend any money on it. Well. the simple fact is, computers are a lot like cars. Every 3 months, you should get your car oil changed, get tire air, pressure checked, changed, ran out of fluid, that sort of thing. If you don’t do it with your car, eventually engine will burn out and the engine rebuilt will cost a lot more than a regular servicing would have, computers are no different. People get used of the machine, getting slower and slower and slower.
It’s a very gradual process and they basically ran out into the ground, until they cant take it anymore and that’s when they bring it to us. So, if you’d like to avoid large repair bills when your computer finally gives up and dies. Give some thought to getting it regularly serviced. Six months is ideal, once a year at the outside most.
Having it maintained by an IT guy that you know and can trust to look after it will keep it running in tiptop condition and will always be fast, snappy and responsive.
